Jedi
Upon being informed by Anakin Skywalker that the Chancellor of the Senate was a Sith Lord, Mace Windu rallied a group of Jedi Masters
to confront and arrest the Chancellor
Sith
With the Galaxy within his grasp, Chancellor Palpatin continued his plotting to overthrow democracy and eradicate the Jedi Order.
Eventually, the inevitable confrontation emerged and Palpatine's true identity was revealed.
Though nothing had changed, Palpatine smiled. He knew that the endgame had begun.
