Force Point
Overview
Force Points (referred to ingame as FP) represent the amount of Force-related things that a Jedi/Sith can do, such as using Force Powers like Force Jump, Force Lightning, or Saber Deflect.
Every saberist has 100 FP at the start of every round. FP is lost by performing things that use them and will regenerate when you stop doing actions that drain the. If you're deflecting, keep in mind that a shot that you fail to deflect will also drain FP as well as HP(Hit Points/Health).
Gameplay Tips
— Don't "spam" your Force Powers. If the enemy you're playing against has any skill, you will be massacred.
— Standing in your defensive stance does not make you invincible, despite the lower FP drains required to deflect and the fact that being in a defensive stance makes you take less damage.
— Keep a mental idea of how much FP it takes to do each Force Power, and how much it takes to jump a certain height, etc. Nothing too extensive, just good enough to have an idea of your amount of FP without having to look down at the FP bar in the middle of a fight.
— Force Powers don't normally affect other saberists. Don't spam them unless you're sure that the enemy saberist has low FP (or if they have no Force Block), especially in the middle of a saber duel.
— FP normally regenerates slowly. If you're low on FP and need to regenerate, make sure you're taking ample cover from enemies.
— Sometimes, your FP will not regenerate. This is caused by using Mind Trick, Sense, Speed, while you're in the air, and by being poisoned. Being poisoned also drains HP, but by meditating, you can lower the HP drain. To meditate, open up the console (Shift + ~) and type /meditate or bind a key to it by typing in /bind <key> meditate (without the < or >). This leaves you open to being attacked, however, so watch out.
— If you're standing still, be in a defensive stance. You'll get damage reduction if someone sneaks up on you and lower FP drains if someone attacks you from the front.
