A List of Commonly Used Terms and Abbreviations
- jka = Jedi Academy (the game itself)
- basejka = The unmodded JKA.
- tk = teamkill (killing teammates)
- dotf = Duel of the fates
- mando = Mandalorian
- bh = Bounty Hunter
- q3 = Quad 3 (attack defense)
- d3 = Jedi/Sith Saber Deflect 3
- t3 = B17 term for q3
- p3 = Pistol 3
- m5 = Westar M5
- proj = Projectile Rifle
- ruptor = Tenloss Disruptor Rifle
- blob(s) = explosive rounds
- tjunc = tjunction (dotf only)
- imp = imperial
- reb = rebels
- fed = federation room (dotf only)
- qt = quick throw
- godcaster = Bowcaster
- fp = force points
- ds = Death Star (usually referring to the map)
- idr = Increased Drain Range
- deka = droideka
- sold = soldier
- main = Main route (most commonly traveled) on the map. An example is the main hall on dotf.
- side = Alternate route on the map (usually one "main" side route per map; some have two). An example is the route between the federation room and the generator that leads into the hangar on dotf.
- et = elite trooper aka Commander
- mt = Mind Trick
- td = Thermal Detonator
- cw = Catwalk (dotf only)
- gen = Generator Room (several maps)
- glowstick = Lightsaber
- obj = objective
