Movie Battles utilizes a round-based battle system. The rounds last no longer then around 5 mins. During this time it is your mission to complete your objectives. Killing all opposition grants you victory as well.

Killing is now more rewarding - it is not only useful for accumulating more frags, you also gain points for the Progressive Item / Weaponry System with each kill. Of course, staying alive is also more imperative due to the Last Man Standing system.

Whenever you die during a round in progress, you will remain "dead" until the next round - you will not respawn (unless you have "Reinforcements"). This means that in the end only a few people remain active after the mass has died. Teamplay and tactics are highly advised.

When you are dead you remain in Spectate-mode and are free to roam around or discuss new tactics with your fellow dead teammates. You also die when joining a round already in progress as well as when changing classes, so it is advised to perform those actions during intermissions.

The only exception to the rule of one life per round is the "Reinforcements"-ability. Classes like Soldiers, Elite Troopers and Clone Troopers have the option of gaining extra lives by buying those. A player with reinforcements will only truly die when his last life has been taken away from him. That is also the only moment you will gain points for his death.

Go into battle prepared, but do not foolishly waste your life. You are only granted one until Heaven calls.
