Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.
In Movie Battles II, blasters now play a more profound role - there are only few classes who do not use blaster technology.
Just like in the movies, coordinated fire can simply shoot down a Jedi or Sith Warrior.
Utilizing the
Buy and Upgrade System you can upgrade your E-11 Blaster to be a high-end killing machine. But its use has changed along...
Your accuracy now depends on your movement. For the best accuracy, stand still or crouch.
Running makes your aim less accurate and combining running with jumping gives you the worst aim you can get.
The accuracy of your aim also depends on the weapon you use - running and firing an E-11 sprays the shots around, yet doing the same with a Blaster Pistol grants you a very accurate aim. Learn to use each individual weapon well.
The orange bar in the lower-right corner of your HUD depicts your weapon's clip. Each clip has a certain amount of energy for your weapon. If your clip is empty (the orange bar is depleted), you cannot fire anymore.
The used clip slowly regenerates some energy by itself but you need to reload manually (by using your Reload key) to get a full new clip.
The number indicator for the orange bar shows how much ammo you have left
in total. This means all that you have left with you, not accounting for the ammo currently in the clip. As a consequence, you might have 0 ammo in your ammo-pack but still have some left in your clip to fire.
Reloading quickly transfers energy from your total ammo to your clip. If you have no ammo left with you, you cannot reload your weapon anymore. There are no pick-ups around the maps, so do not waste your ammo!
The drawback of reloading is that you can't switch weapons, attack or stop the reloading process once you start it. This makes you an easy target in the open, so be careful when you choose to reload!
Additionally, some weapons can be upgraded with different firing modes, that players can toggle by pressing the Weapon Mode key, allowing further ways of attacking the opposition.
Some weapons have firing modes that become avaiable by simply combining two different weapons, such as allowing the PLX-1 Portable Rocket Launcher to fire a Reverse Polarity Pulse Grenade. Combining weapons is a very effective tactic but it also uses ammo from both weapons at the same time. Keep that in mind.
