Movie Battles II not only offers a unique and complete Star Wars experience but it also expands upon the core game's mechanics, bringing players a wide array of new weapons, powers and ways to play the game that weren't avaiable in the original game.

Movie Battles II totally alters the Multiplayer aspect of Jedi Academy to better reflect skill-based as well as movie-like battles. Blasters, Lightsabers, the Force, Classes, even death have all been greatly changed.

Read below to fully understand the new type of warfare, how things proceed and to gain an advantage over your opponents. Everything that you should know and need to know has been listed here.


General Game Rules
  • Play in 32-player multiplayer matches that include stat tracking and multiplayer achievements.

  • Each game consists of timed 5 minute rounds.

  • All games utilize a Last Man Standing mechanic. This means that, if a player is killed during a round, he will remain dead for the rest of the duration of the round. However, some Classes can purchase an ability which grants them more lives to play in each round.

  • Each battle pits two teams against eachother - one team defending and the other attacking.

  • The offensive team must either complete their primary objectives or eliminate all the players of the opposing team to win before time runs out.

  • The defending team has to stop the attackers by either killing them all or by holding them until time runs out.



Classes
  • Play with up to 13 different Classes and choose who you want to be in the battle - may it be Jango Fett, Darth Vader, Mace Windu or even an ordinary stormtrooper.

  • There's literally dozens of characters to choose from.

Buy and Upgrade System
  • Purchase and Upgrade a variety of unique new weapons, equipment and abilities for each Class.

  • Earn or lose points to buy items according to how well you do in the battlefield.

  • Massive amounts of customization and replay value ensure that every match you take part in feels different and refreshing.

My Friend, the Blaster...
  • Blasters and other ranged weapons have undergone profound alterations in our game, making them very deadly and effective against your opponents.

  • With the exception of Jedi and Sith, every class has access to ranged weapons.

  • Introducing a new Reload mechanic where players have to manually reload their weapon's clip.

  • Some weapons can have more than two modes of firing when upgraded.

Art of the Saber
  • Play as a Jedi and fight your enemies with a completly revamped Saber System.

  • Lightsabers take skill to master but quickly become a devastating tool in the hands of an experienced player.

  • Blocking enemy shots or other lightsabers is now done manually.

  • Fighting against blasters is quite different from fighting against other lightsabers. You will need to adapt yourself to different situations if you want to succeed in this game.

Sensitive to the Force
  • Make use of improved Force Powers, altered to represent powers hinted, visible or shown in the movies.

  • Force Powers can be upgraded and taken to higher levels for effectiveness purposes.

  • Using Force Powers or blocking Blaster shots depletes your Force Pool. Be careful of how you use your powers.

  • Jedi have access to Light Side powers while Sith get access to the Dark Side powers.

  • Some Force Powers are exclusive to Full and Semi Authentic Mode.
